Kihoi Ranch is a Montana-based nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to the protection, training, and advocacy of America’s wild mustangs. Our work began with a deep calling: to stand with the mustangs, honor their untamed spirit, and ensure their survival for future generations.

Unlike traditional ranches, Kihoi Ranch is not defined by fences or buildings—it is defined by a mission. While we are still in the early stages of building a permanent home, our programs are already growing through hands-on mustang training, equine-assisted learning, and powerful advocacy efforts that share the mustangs’ story with the world.Every horse we rescue, every colt we gentle, and every story we tell is part of a larger vision: to create a place where people and wild horses heal, learn, and thrive together.

Alongside our rescue and advocacy work, we share the mustangs’ spirit through our Mustang Moments storytelling series and Untamed Art collection—featuring fine art prints, poems/writings, and original drawings. Our online store now offers these pieces, giving you a way to carry their story into your home while supporting our mission.
